SPRING NEWS!!!

Hi Everyone,
The snow cover has disappeared!! And my daffodils are poking up bravely through the thaw. A time of new beginnings to celebrate at last. For some reason this winter seemed unusually long but it's behind us now!
BACK IN THE STUDIO!
I've been creating several new series that will debut and expand this spring. So exciting really to move in new directions but keep the connection to creating work that is free, fresh and alive...and that restores and energizes.
First, building on the sellout success of this series that I offered in last December's 25 Days of Minis, I've created lots of mid-century modern-motifed table top landscapes. They are quirky and light hearted and bring a happiness to the space they occupy. So you can probably imagine how much fun they are to paint! They will be offered at all my spring events outlined later.

To expand on my imaginary landscape standard-bearer collections, I've created a series of abstracted landscape paintings on paper that are sure to ignite your imagination and bring a special spirit to your home or office. These will also be featured in most of the events this spring.
Commissions continue to provide me the opportunity to recreate your favorite family pet or design a special piece for a special spot.

I’ll be here again this year with 12 pieces and loads of wonderful other artists work. If you have never been to this show maybe this is your year! Top to bottom, every inch of wall space is covered with fine art and craft. 4000 pieces, over 200 artists. And the ride to Yellow Springs through Chester County is a creative inspiration all by itself. Learn More Here.
- CHESTER COUNTY STUDIO TOUR : STUDIO 26
May 16 (10-6p) and May 17 (11-5p)
325 S Caldwell Circle, Downingtown PA
This is one of my favorite events of the year! This tour I’ll be back with my good friend and host, Dr. Geoff Burgess, and his astonishingly beautiful landscape photography. There will be three of us this year including landscape painter Brittany Brubaker.
The tour is so much fun with so much to discover. 170 artists in 60 studios. And a chance to cruise around the vast beauty of Chester County at the height of her spring. Divine, really. No better way to enjoy art at this time of year. Learn More Here.
- STUDIO APPOINTMENTS ANYTIME
You are invited to see me at the studio at a mutually agreeable time. I would love to see you there as well before beachtime calls!
- CALLING ALL PET COMMISSIONS
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation Day, Any Day really. I’m gearing up for more memory making pet portraits and I would love to paint your special four-legged friend(s).

Meet Shiva! What a beauty. I capture this pose from a video and just loved the action and the spirit it conveys. What a joy to paint. Shiva was a memorial gift portrait that was reported to be a real tear jerker at the opening. I can understand why.
GIFT CERTIFICATES are available for all occasions. Contact me at sallyrichardsart@gmail.com to finalize the details.
