Hills have always represented the challenges, as well as the gifts, of life for me. The strength we find in the climb and the freedom and exhilaration in the descent, like biking down the other side at full speed. The hills in this painting are imaginary- complex, mysterious and worthy of a long restful visit to absorb the wonder of this place.
