I sometimes paint to music and on the day I painted these I was being inspired by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett’s Carnegie Hall Concert album. One of my favorite songs is called True Blues and this painting just popped out onto the panel while I listened. The movement, the energy, the intuitive expression…..all of it a companion to this great man’s music. Like a duet with a genius. How special is that?
