There is a freshness to early spring that is thrilling to me. As the barrenness of winter transforms to a sea of pastels on the land and my spirit lifts with it as if kissed by that grade school boy I liked or by the smell of the land after the rain. The energy and the magic of the rebirth is all mine in that moment.
