The first time I laid eyes on the tulip fields of Holland is a moment I will not ever forget. Acres of those blooming beauties- so strong and stately, announcing spring and all the bounty that the season holds everywhere. Ever since I have made a practice of keeping tulips in my kitchen as a reminder of the restorative nature of the new season.
