There is nothing like a road trip to wake me up. As if I have been in a long winter’s sleep, that car pulls out and I am instantly greeted by heightened observations, endless energy and anticipation of the next discovery. Most often the countryside is a blur of color and patterns. Life is teeming. Kids are playing, food is being harvested, summer on the road has no equal for the imagination. Every mile is an inspiration and this painting wants you to have this experience any time you pass her by.
