There is a quiet time on the lake when the day is leaving us for awhile and the colors announce their merging to become one with the dark. It is the time when creatures say goodnight openly and if you listen carefully you can hear this symphony over the sound of your own thrilled heart. It is this time of the day, when it is almost done with itself, that we can thank it for all it has been and for the inspiration and light it will bring to us when it returns.
