My great grandfather owned and ran 7 farms in the Pennsylvania German countryside. By the time I was growing up they had all been sold or become ‘gentlemen’ properties, as we called them. I have so many rich visual memories of this land in its prime and have always been full of stories about the lives and times on the land. Forever. They go on forever….the fields and the stories.
