Greetings from the studio!!
I have been thinking a lot about how much I appreciate the support that special people, like you, have provided for me and my artmaking this year. The abundance is really overwhelming and I am deeply grateful to you for your interest and encouragement.
So with this note of thanks come my sincerest wishes for a beautiful holiday season, whatever form it takes. We will be celebrating with family and friends and four-legged creatures at home, close to the hearth.
One of the nicest things to come my way this season was feedback from a high school friend that I recently reconnected with after many years. Bruce follows my social network postings about my art and said that while my mini series paintings - part of the current 25 Days of Minis Show - at first seem simple, he found that they caused the rise of 'deep feelings- memories, home, dreams and freedom’. As you know my inspiration often comes from my need to energize, inspire, recover long lost memories of childlike wonder. And so this note from Bruce was a sweet gift, a way to close a most memorable year. Mission accomplished!
