Fall 2023 Newsletter: Lots happening this fall!

Hi Everyone! LOTS HAPPENING, ALL GOOD......SAVE THE DATES So much is happening so fast that I have to remind myself to breathe! My spring shows and open studios were great fun. Lots of recent work found new homes and I met some great new people and collector friends. Being in touch with people about art is one of my favorite parts of this job. And as you will see, there are lots of opportunities this Fall for us to meet up again! My September 'Featured Artist' show at Granite Farms Estates was a wonderful chance to hang a full gallery of my art in one location and to share it for the month with all the people there. I loved that opportunity so much that I'm doing an encore- I'll be Featured Artist for December at the White Horse Village Clubhouse Gallery in Newtown Square, PA. My 25 small paintings are ready to go for the 25 Days of Minis on-line sale from December 1-25. This is one of my favorite ways to share my art and I love this year's collection so much it's been hard to keep them under wraps. This year there are 80 juried artists in the program. 2000 small works of art. An abundance of new choices. Sign up for daily delivery of new works and get there early because this sale has the character of a feeding frenzy- its so exciting to see and score the new works at midnight each day. https://www.25daysofminis.com

I'm wrapping up a whirlwind family trip to NL which has been incredibly inspiring, as always. I can't get over the greens here in October, at the same time that colors are reaching their peak at home!

Amidst all of this artful activity we are about to be consumed with the final stages of resizing and selling our home and renovating our new one so the challenges of balancing studio and home time continue. In the realm of bringing right brained thinking to a predominantly left brained project, I'm creating a gallery for my art in our new home for the first time. It will be thrilling to live with my own work this way before some of you call it your own! CALLING ALL PET PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS

Meet Nucci!!! My favorite portrait of the year so far. Boy, was she a challenge but so fun to paint. Every time I added another brushstroke of that gorgeous hair was a thrill. I was lucky to know Nucci before I painted her. She is the only dog-child of my immensely talented massage therapist, Chris. So I was very familiar with her lively essence and was able to capture her to my thorough satisfaction! Please reach out with your special four-legged's portrait order before the Holidays. The season is almost here. It would be a shame to miss that inevitable tearful unwrapping, wouldn't it? ------------------------------------------------ SAVE THE DATES SUMMARY
